Folk Fiesta is a culmination of carnival and the college’s annual ethnic day, organized by Samashti - The Student Council. Folk Fiesta 2022 took place on March 12, 2022. The day promised an exciting adventure for all present at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 pm. Set to begin with all its anticipation, the folk fiesta took off with a bang, as the music team’s Mic Check built up hype to kick-start the day. A massive crowd would be an understatement to describe the turnout for this exciting event.

The power-packed Indian dance team, Veni Vici mesmerized the crowd with their fiery energy and raw display of emotions. The anchors of the day ensured the audience was constantly on their feet. The Music team, Raagbandits, put together the perfect symphony with their ace Raag, Sur, and Taal.

After all the performances, the esteemed heads of various departments of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), honored the event with their presence. Soon after, the banner was revealed. The Samashti logo was revealed the first, followed by the Tarusamskruti and Pulse logos. Lastly, with the zest reaching the fever pitch, the theme for Tarusamskruti 2022, Monopoly, was revealed. The audience rejoiced with the enchanting beats of the dhol electrifying the atmosphere. The stalls of the event catered everything from food to leisure activities that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
