During the global pandemic we have gone through personal loss and in this overwhelming situation we understood the importance of mental health and yet, there is a lot of stigma still attached to mental health and especially counselling. So, we at JAIN are trying to break the stigma by creating awareness on the importance of mental health. JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) provides mental health counselling and addresses wide spectrum of concerns such as anxiety, depression, adjustment problems, abuse (sexual and physical), childhood trauma, to mention a few.

These counselling sessions can be availed by students as well as faculty members of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) at free of cost.

The campus counsellor at Jayanagar 9th Block campus is Ms. Manaswini.M. She is a counselling psychologist, certified behavioural therapy expert, queer-affirmed counsellor, and Specialises in handling people from multiple cultures.

  • Psycho-educative session every month open for suggestions of the topics
