During the global pandemic we have gone through personal loss and in this overwhelming situation we understood the importance of mental health and yet, there is a lot of stigma still attached to mental health and especially counseling. So, we at Jain are trying to break the stigma by creating awareness on the importance of mental health. JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) provides mental health counseling and addresses wide spectrum of concerns such as anxiety, depression, adjustment problems, abuse (sexual and physical), childhood trauma, to mention a few.
These counseling sessions can be availed by students as well as faculty members of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) at free of cost.
The campus counselor at Jayanagar 9th Block campus is Ms. Manaswini.M. She is a counseling psychologist, certified behavioral therapy expert, queer affirmed counselor, and specializes in handling people from multiple cultures.
