Finance as a subject has a wide range of scope and is very important from the viewpoint of industries and commerce in general. Finance is a part of commerce that students must have a clear understanding of. Vitta forum aims to educate undergraduate students and teachers on the above aspects.

Vitta, the finance forum of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), School of Commerce, conducted an online workshop titled Technical Analysis of Stock Market on 7th February 2022. Mr. Sagar U.S., a trader, trainer, and entrepreneur, was the keynote speaker of this workshop. For the session, the faculty coordinator was Dr. Manjunath B.V., and the student coordinator was Mrs. Sanjana.

The workshop started with the introduction of the speaker. Mr. Sagar, in his address to the audience, discussed intraday, investment, Candlestick chart, Arbitrage techniques, Nifty, and Sensex. This workshop aimed to create awareness among students and teaching staff about the stock market, financial inclusion, and technical and fundamental analysis, which are very basic and crucial to understand how finance works. Nearly 800 students participated in this interactive session and gained valuable knowledge and guidance on technical tools.
