The MUN Society of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) organised JIGYASA 2022, the maiden edition of the flagship event of the MUN Society. The event saw tremendous success with more than 20 institutes participating and 250 delegates. The three-day event began on 28th August 2022.

The conference had five committees:

• UNODC- United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime
• UNGA DISEC- United Nations General Assembly Disarmament International Security Committee
• UNHRC- United Nations Human Rights Council
• AIPPM - All India Political Party Meet
• IPC- International Press corps

Mr. Pakkiresh Badami was invited as the keynote speaker for the event. He is currently part of the Indian Revenue Service, serving as the Deputy Commissioner for Income Tax in Bengaluru.

The conference, in its very first edition, managed to break records and became one of the biggest MUNs in the college circuit of Bangalore. All three days of the conference saw delegates representing various member nations and various members of political parties with immense zeal and enthusiasm. The conference was a perfect mixture of debate, learning, fun, and healthy competition. Many flaming topics like opposition deciding to sit on a protest in AIPPM and Russia leaving the UN in DISEC were discussed, making JIGYASA an insightful event.
