The Student Career Advisory and Placement Support Forum is a placement-oriented forum that assists and guides students in their employment and internship searches. SCAPS as a forum not only assists students in getting hired by their dream businesses, but also trains its forum members for the process of recruitment and prepares them for their corporate journey. As a placement forum, we assist the university in conducting multiple placement drives and encourage our forum members to build connections with the Human Resource department of various companies to keep themselves updated with the current trends in the industry.

We, at SCAPS, also organize various events for students to experience the working realities of an actual recruitment process in order for them to gain exposure and prepare themselves better for the next phase of their career.

The SCAPS Forum also undertakes the task of organising various guest lectures by experienced professionals working in the industry, who can guide the students in making the right choices during their period in the University in terms of being a prospective recruit.

Recent Achievements and Events

Skill Fest - Skill Fest is an umbrella event which has 3 single events under it:

  • My Country Run - MCR is an initiative of Jain (Deemed-to-be) University that intends to create awareness on good health and wellness for every single individual in the country and is an event that has been organised over the years. The purpose of conducting MCR is to collect funds to help the underprivileged sportsperson who have the determination and talent to reach their goals and heights.
  • Words of Wisdom - Words of Wisdom Sessions are organised for students wherein we invite certain guest speakers who have been an inspiration to numerous people to address, inspire and motivate our students.
  • Resume Building - Resume Building sessions are conducted for our forum members to help them understand the importance of having a good resume. We help our members by training them on various aspects of how to design a resume and gain an edge while being recruited.
  • Placement Training - Placement Drives are handled by the SCAPS Forum and its members get an opportunity of conducting them and building corporate connections. This helps them in not only building connections, but also enhances their managerial, organisational and communication skills.
  • Mock Debate - These are team building exercises conducted for the forum members wherein they get a chance to present their views and enhance their knowledge on various topics.
