Eligibility

The minimum qualification for the BCom Investment Banking programme, which students must apply for, is a pass in the 10+2 examination in Science or Commerce from PUC / ISC / CBSE or an equivalent board or a course recognised as equivalent to it by the University.

Overview

The Investment Banking Integrated with CMA, USA, and CFA USA Investment Foundation course is the first in the country launched by JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). The course trains the students on multiple skills related to the financial ecosystem. It is designed to develop financial knowledge and prepare the students for the global business environment.

The students will develop and apply excellent financial literature and interpreting skills in the real-world financial world. The course trains the students on research methodologies from both economic and financial perspectives. It is designed to nurture the future leaders of financial services sectors occupying key roles as analysts, fund managers, and bankers.

The fourth year of the Bcom programme is designated as BCom (Hons). This specialised programme offers in-depth knowledge and skills in the chosen area, boosting professional competence. It aims to develop students' conceptual and practical understanding of managing businesses and organisations effectively, preparing them for future challenges.

The BCom Investment Banking programme emphasises research and analytical skills and explores technology and digitisation within the field. It fosters an entrepreneurial mindset and cultivates relevant skills. Students gain insights into systems, policies, and strategies required in a globally oriented environment, including financial systems and regulatory concerns. 

They also receive exposure to different functional domains of commerce. The BCom (Hons) provides a comprehensive and focused education that equips students to make informed decisions and succeed in a rapidly changing professional landscape.
