Overview

The B.Com Banking & Finance (Apprenticeship-Enabled Degree Programme) is a future-focused undergraduate programme designed to prepare students for dynamic careers in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.

Offered in collaboration with the BFSI Sector Skill Council (BFSI SSC), the programme integrates academic learning with industry-driven skill development and structured workplace learning. Courses are delivered by BFSI SSC–certified trainers in collaboration with university faculty, enabling students to gain practical insights into current industry practices, regulatory frameworks, and customer-centric financial services.

A key feature of the programme is the mandatory paid apprenticeship during Semester IV and Semester V, which provides hands-on exposure in banks, NBFCs, fintech firms, and other financial institutions. This earn-while-you-learn approach enables students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world environments while developing essential professional competencies.

By combining structured academics, industry-certified training, and apprenticeship experience, the programme equips graduates with strong employability, practical expertise, and career readiness for the BFSI ecosystem.
