Overview

The B.Com Applied Finance (Apprenticeship-Enabled Degree Programme) is an industry-integrated undergraduate programme designed to equip students with strong financial knowledge, practical skills, and workplace readiness. It bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world financial practice and is offered in collaboration with GT Bharat, ensuring consistent industry alignment throughout the academic journey.

The curriculum combines rigorous academic instruction with application-oriented training in accounting, financial management, taxation, banking, compliance, and financial analysis. Specialised courses are co-delivered by GT Bharat industry professionals alongside university faculty, providing students with exposure to current tools, practices, and regulatory frameworks prevalent in the finance sector.

A distinctive feature of the programme is the paid apprenticeship undertaken during Semester IV and Semester V. This earn-while-you-learn model allows students to gain structured, on-the-job experience, apply classroom concepts in professional environments, and develop essential workplace competencies such as problem-solving, communication, and ethical judgement.

By integrating academic learning, industry training, and apprenticeship experience, the programme prepares graduates for immediate employability and long-term career growth across finance, accounting, banking, fintech, and allied professional domains.
